Séan Scullion

He is a military historian still serving in the British Army and involved, amongst other things, in the research and study of 20th Century Conflict. He is a bilingual-Spanish speaker and a graduate of Spanish from the University of Nottingham. Séan is currently studying for his PhD on this very topic with Kings College London. More recently, he has carried out in-depth research on transnational fighters during the Second World War concentrating on the role of Spanish republican exiles serving with the Allies. He has written extensively on military matters and published two books on Spanish republicans during the Second World War: Churchill’s Spaniards and Españoles Contra el Nazismo.
